What should you do when your audience interacts with your Ad but doesn’t convert?
You’re at the dentist, waiting for your appointment, you go on Facebook scrolling up and down in your Feed to pass up on time. You stumble upon a delicious, mouth-watering chocolate cake recipe ad. You really want to click on the ad and check out the recipe, but you’ve just got called in. It’s not the right time or place to click. Plus your dentist will judge you.
You come back home, and you struggle to find that recipe. The ad is gone. How can you prevent this from happening to your audience?
The answer (drumroll) is: Retargeting!
Retargeting is a marketing strategy where you show your ad another time to an audience who interacted with your products and shown significant interest in them but didn’t purchase.
This audience has a high chance of converting and becoming your customers.
Retargeting Ads are essential to any marketing campaign, in fact, if you’re not running a Retargeting campaign for your products, you’re literally throwing money out of the window. Because Retargeting Campaigns always perform better than initial targeting campaigns.
You can easily set up a Retargeting Ad campaign with Scalify following these 5 easy steps:
Step 1: Open the Scalify app and click on Retarget Interested People
- Open the Scalify app.
- Look for Retargeting campaigns and select Retarget Interested People.
Step 2: Select the Ad account you want to use.
- Select the ad account you want to use.
- Check either Create a new campaign or Use an existing campaign.
Step 3: Select The page post you want to run as a Retargeting Ad.
- Search by campaign or by page post to find the page post you want to use to run the Retargeting campaign. Use the search by campaign option to find the page post faster.
- If you have a new post that hasn’t been used in an ad yet, use the search by page option or copy-paste the post’s ID.
- Select an Ad set.
- Select the post and hit next.
Step 4: Set the Retargeting settings.
Scalify Will Automatically retrieve the product from the post and make sure that all the events below are only relevant to this product only.
You can also create custom audiences based on multiple products or delete all the products to use all the traffic data in the pixel.
- Choose an event or multiple events for your retargeting settings.
- Choose the number of copies you’d like and click next
For example, you can choose the add to cart but did not purchase setting, what this does is creating an audience of people who added the product in the cart but didn’t purchase. You can do this for all the other events to split test these audiences.
The daily budget each Ad Set created will have. If you have a daily budget of $100 and you want to have 10 custom audiences, you might want to set your daily budget to $10.
You can also select the age and gender of your targeted audience. Choose all Ad placements for maximum visibility. You can split test your audience by age or gender.
Step 5: Review and run your campaign.
This shows you a summary of your campaign and the estimated time (2 minutes) Scalify will take to create the campaign Ad Set and Ad and Custom Audiences for you.
If you want the campaign to be created as soon as Scalify completes it, go ahead and tick the “Enable Ad sets”. If you want to check things one more time before it’s launched, make sure it’s ticked off.
