Manage Facebook Connection

Learn how to connect and manage your Facebook advertising assets with Scalify.


Using Scalify to create and manage your Facebook and Instagram ads requires having an active Facebook Ad Account.

Note: Scalify cannot be used with disabled or banned ad accounts, as it uses the official Facebook API to function.

Connect Your Ad Account

Connecting your Facebook profile and ad account is accomplished during the third step of the account setup process.

If you haven’t created your account yet, click on this setup guide.

Change Your Facebook Profile

If you have the incorrect Facebook profile connected with Scalify and you want to change it, please follow the steps below:

  1. On the Scalify app, head over to Settings from the sidebar.
  2. Click on Facebook.
  3. Click on the Disconnect button of the currently connected profile.
  4. Click on the Connect Facebook button.
  5. A new window will open with the Scalify guarantee, click on the Connect to Facebook button.
  6. Click on Close This Window.

Your Facebook profile is now successfully connected to Scalify. You can start adding the ad accounts and Facebook pages you have admin access to.

Connect Your Pixels

Scalify automatically fetches the Facebook Pixels connected to the ad account you added.

You can select a Pixel to work with while creating a task.

If you can't find a specific Pixel in Scalify, this means that it's assigned to the ad account you're using.

Add Multiple Ad Accounts

Before you add an ad account, make sure that you have the right Facebook profile (with admin access to ad accounts & pages) connected with Scalify.

You may review the previous step if you want to change your Facebook profile.

To connect multiple ad accounts, please follow the steps below:

  1. Click on the Select Ad Accounts button.
  2. Click on a Business Ads Manager from the list to select the Ad Account you want or click on All Ad Accounts to reveal all of them.
  3. Click Add on the Ad Accounts you’d like to use.
  4. Click Done.

Your ad accounts will now be accessible under the connected Facebook profile dropdown.

You can add ad accounts by repeating the same steps any other time.

Add Multiple Facebook Pages

Scalify only fetches the Facebook pages assigned to the ad account connected.

To connect your Facebook Pages to Scalify, please follow the steps below:

  1. Click on the Select Facebook Pages button.
  2. Tick the boxes next to the Facebook Pages you want to connect.
  3. Click Done.

Your Facebook pages will now be visible under the Facebook Pages section in Settings.

You can now start advertising with your Facebook page and add other Facebook pages anytime.

Add Facebook Profiles

If you already have a Facebook Profile connected but you’d like to connect a new one, please follow the steps below:

  1. On your browser, log in to the Facebook profile with admin access to the ad account you want to add.
  2. On the Scalify app, head over to Settings from the sidebar.
  3. Click on Facebook.
  4. Click on the + New Profile button.
  5. Click on the Connect Facebook button.
  6. A new window will open with the Scalify guarantee, click on the Connect to Facebook button.
  7. Click on Close This Window.

Now that you've added a new Facebook profile, you can follow the same steps mentioned above to connect ad accounts and pages this new profile has admin access to.

Switch Ad Accounts

To change the current ad account you're working with and use another one from your connected ad accounts, please follow the steps below:

  1. On the app's interface, click on the top-left dropdown that has the Facebook icon.
  2. Click on the Facebook profile with admin access to the ad account you want to switch to.
  3. Click on the ad account you'll want to use.

You have now switched from using an ad account to another, you can switch back by repeating the same steps.
